Introduction to Dog Obedience - WINTER - SPRING 2026

This class is offered for all dogs who are at least 5 months old.  Learn how to train your dog using positive reinforcement training to walk on a loose leash, come when called, sit, stay and lie down on command, along with working on behavior modification (house breaking, crate training, jumping, chewing, etc.)  Shot records must be presented on the first night of class. (Rabies DHLPP, Bordetella). Minors over the age of 12 are invited to train as long as a parent or guardian is registered for the class and remains in attendance.

IMPORTANT:  PLEASE BRING YOUR DOG TO THE FIRST CLASS,
Equipment you will need:  six-foot leather or nylon lead (NO retractable leashes) and a training collar, treats, treat pouch and clean up supplies.

Session l:   January 6 - February 10
Session ll:   February 24 - April 7  No class March 31
Session lll:  April 21 - May 26
Time:          7:00 - 8:00 pm
Location:    Maire Elementary School Gym
Fee:           $150/6 weeks
