Neighborhood Club Thrift Shop is now located at 17888 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe (between Rivard and Washington; near Valente's). We thank you for your patience and continued support of the Neighborhood Club Thrift Shop during this transition!
In the late 1920's, Marion Jarves Alger and a few friends founded the Neighborhood
Thrift Shop to help needy residents in this area. That was the
beginning of what has been a successful local non-profit business ever
since. The Thrift Shop has moved to several different places over the
years but has always had the same purpose - to provide money for the
Neighborhood Club and good low-cost merchandise for the customers.
Thrift shop is run by a small professional staff along with numerous volunteers
who have a choice of jobs to perform within the store.
